Basic Blink‘s newest project ( Data Format ) was released on October 12th. The first compilation in this project is called ‘Designs’ and shows his truest form of variable production style. Designs is a 3 track electronic music single. The first track ‘Hypntze’, lays down a trap soundscape with a progressive synth melody and varied footwork/juke kick drums that really accompany a sense of where future electronic music will and should be headed toward. The second track, ‘Space.Tech‘ is a contemporary 4/4 house production that strays away from the flow of normal – it is a continuation of his thoughts from his last release, Midnight Deep. The last track ‘Watching From Afar‘ is an uptempo 2-step track with classic house keys, grooves, vibes, and rhythms. Not to mention, Watching from afar was influenced by ‘Hey Lover’ as it samples Michael McCary’s bass acapella.
